From the first family I photographed in Guam (which was horribly overexposed) I was hooked. I realized I was great at making people feel comfortable in front of a camera and capturing special moments they could cherish forever.
My style is focused on raw emotions and a good time! I LOVE getting to know my clients personally so we can capture your energy in the most genuine way. Every single photoshoot is unique to you. I know you’re nervous about taking photos and that’s what I’m here for: to turn your awkward into awesome. You’re going to be surprised at how incredible you look. Genuine love, playfulness, snuggles, contagious laughs inspire me.
Get to know me...
I'm not going to sugar coat anything, being the mom to 3 boys with extremely different personalities is hard! The constant fighting back and forth, the preteen attitude. I don't think there's a day that goes by where I'm not wanting to go hide in my closet and eat from my hidden stash of candy (don't judge) to regain my sanity but these boys are what give me life and meaning. Being their number one fan at the baseball field or golf course, saving every school art project to show their kids one day, molding them into the respectful boys we want them to become keeps me getting up every morning.
My lifeline
There's no way in hell I'd be where I am today if it weren't for my husband. He is insanely patient and the biggest supporter of my dreams. To be able to put up with me for 16 years now is just crazy to me. The strength, drive, motivation and compassion this man has inside, I only hope my son's get half of it! He truly is my best friend and ride or die partner in life.
Partner in Crime
There is no denying I'm an animal lover. I'm the type of person who sees a cardboard box on the side of the road and has to turn around to make sure there's no kittens or puppies in it that someone dropped off. I've always had pets in my life and they are truly family members in the Rains household. There's nothing better than a long day and just cuddling up with the dog or cat.
Our current crew includes two Brittanys (no we didn't get them because of my name) Lorelei and Perry and our three cats, Ava (mom) and her two daughters (Reba & Fancy).
